I set up viper4android and I really enjoyed it. The process was a bit tricky since my device lacks an init.d file and SELINUX enforces strict permissions, but it was worth it because my music now sounds significantly better. You can find more details in the XDA forum guide. If you don’t have Lolipop installed, try alternative instructions—rooting is likely necessary.
