TL;DR is it CSGO? My PC has been running at 200+ FPS for the past 2½ months. Recently it dropped to 60 FPS, which is frustrating. I checked files but couldn't fix it. I reinstalled and am now researching on Reddit. Found several posts with similar issues, especially on higher-end systems. Any suggestions? Also, I'm new to PC gaming—my specs are an i5 6600K, GTX 960, and the rest is standard.

Verify your video configuration? They appear to repeatedly revert to the highest settings. Attempt lowering them to a reduced level and observe if the issue persists.

Thanks for your feedback. After testing various settings, I'm still not seeing a significant improvement from 250 to 60 FPS. It seems like the issue might be related to integrated graphics, possibly affecting my 960 performance. I'm considering disabling them and checking if that helps. Also, I'll try turning off the screen overlay at home. Let me know if this resolves anything!

Also, ensure your power settings are switched to "high performance" rather than balanced. If these recommendations don’t help, it’s likely a driver problem.

You might have altered the default graphics settings to use IGPU, but honestly I'm not sure. Just try turning it up and observe the results.

It's CS GO on a 960, not Ctysis 3. It should work fine with balanced settings and a 50% power limit. Likely the issue is with the driver.

Still unsure, though it seems you might be onto something.
