The mobile processor isn't compatible with desktop boards. This is what everyone else is saying too. A mobile processor is meant for laptops or very compact mini PCs. If you clarify these points, we can give you better advice on the necessary components.
This is my initial attempt at assembling a PC, so I have no preference toward any brand or manufacturer.
I conducted some personal research and discovered these parts, but I remain open to other recommendations.
Would it be better not to list the components, making the instructions less confusing?

I wouldn't focus too much on the AMD/Intel debate. Either one would work just fine.

I just want the best possible PC in this price range. I’m not focused on one part or another, this is my first time putting one together, so any feedback would be appreciated. Was it confusing to post the components? What made my question most confusing—I’ve edited it so let me know if you think I should change it back.
Currently, I'm mainly focused on the PC components such as RAM, motherboard, CPU, cooler, fans, video card, power supply, and case. The only real constraint is cost, aside from that I don’t have any specific preferences. But this is my first time building a PC, so any tips would be really helpful.

I'm sure others will have ideas, and whether or not to go up and down in price on certain components.
The CPU is a bit overkill, but gives stellar gaming performance, and top multicore performance too.
Creo operates with multiple threads, eliminating the need for a 16c chip. I installed a 1tb SSD for the operating system and another for a scratch drive, assuming Creo supports that setup. I neglected to consult the CAD team I collaborate with. A 4tb drive was added for storing games and models. I used 96gb of RAM, as Creo prioritizes memory capacity, and the 7900xtx was included for additional V-ram.
