Hello everyone, I chose to move away from the cosole world and start building my first PC. It’s been a few days since I finished it, and everything seems to be functioning properly. However, when I check the BIOS and Armory Crate, only the AIO and CPU fan are visible. I’m using a Lian Li 216 ATX mid case, which means all the case fans are connected to the back panel (Lian Li’s built-in module). The motherboard I have is the Asus Strix B650e-f. The AOI is connected to the pump header and the CPU fan header at the top of the board. All fans are spinning, but I’m having trouble getting better control over them and seeing the case fans so I can manage them directly.

The included modules typically offer two choices. 1. They link to a compact controller featuring a push button on the case for changing color options. 2. You must connect the fans directly to the motherboard, skipping the push button controller. This allows you to modify color and speed using tools like Armory Crate. In my Deepcool case, instructions were provided for this setup.

If your fans link to the MB via the hub, the simplest method needing no software is configuring the fan curve in the BIOS directly.

All but the rear exhaust fan are RGB-enabled. I didn’t buy Lian Li’s additional RGB fan controller that clips onto the case. There isn’t a dedicated hub for RGB fan control on the back panel—just a tiny rectangular board with several wires connected. I’m able to change all colors smoothly via Armory Crate, though the only parts I notice are the CPU fan and Aoi pump displayed on the BIOS and inside Armory Crate.

The Qfan control lets you manage the fans by adjusting points at each checkpoint to alter their shape. You can apply presets and test full speed to confirm real-time responsiveness.

You might not need to stress too much since everything appears to be functioning correctly. The Qfan auto-tune and armory crate features seem to be working, and your temperatures look normal.

Can you show us a picture of the computer? To me, it looks like all of the case fans are under CHA_FAN1, and are being controlled together as if they were all one fan. You did mention something about the CPU fan header, but it doesn't look like anything is plugged in there.

It seems okay overall, but your audience will be fully engaged at just 70°C. This suggests either a stable setup or they’ll stay close to 100% during gameplay, since Ryzen processors with certain cooling solutions tend to run hotter regardless of fan speed.
