Visit the manufacturer's site for the motherboard, download the newest drivers and BIOS files. Be cautious as installing the BIOS on a USB drive can be challenging. Ensure the USB is formatted with FAT32.

You don’t have to flash or update the BIOS unless there’s an issue. Focus on drivers and Windows updates. In the BIOS, only verify the boot queue. From the driver list, check audio, INF (chipset), and the first two Intel entries. Everything else isn’t necessary. VGA is required only for iGPU use, and HDD should be enabled if you want alerts when connecting an HDD.

yep what he said i do always update the bios but if its fine u prob dont need to at all congrats on your first build @logicalcaldrm ive some probs with my z170 board would you take a look at my posts if you have the time please
