Hello! I’m checking your setup. You have an MSI B550M P Gen 3 with a Ryzen 5 5600 CPU and two Kingston HyperX Fury 3200 GPUs at 8GB each. You’re considering buying two more of the same model from the same shop. Will it work smoothly? The memory controller might be a concern, but your motherboard should handle it.
The system limits performance at 3600 MHz. At 3200 MHz it should work fine. If you need to run at 3200, it’s still possible but speed will be reduced.
You'd need to test it to discover the truth. My RAM was rated at 3600 CL18 using 2x8GB modules, but it couldn't cope with 4x8GB sticks. I had to lower it to 3200 without altering the timings or DIMM/SOC voltage.
It relies on the trace routing and design of the MSi B550M P GEN3. DDR4-3200 should work with 4x DIMMs, though confirming it would require testing.
The boards run a B450 Pro with a B550 chipset. You can get any IC you imagine, so having two sets isn't advised since components will differ. For a 3200C14 it's safe, while 4000+ C19 (non-primaries) works with Hi-Nix DJRS or similar. Consider selling your current RAM and either purchasing a 2x16 kit of 3200C16/3600C18 (skip the low case) or opting for a 4x8 dual-rank setup using Klevv or Crucial 3200C16/3600C18, or go with a bare Samsung/Crucial 2666C19 PCB (identify the IC by inspection).
