Recently when I have been playing Rocket League, there has been a little lag. I think it's about 70-120 ping, which is a lot for this game. My friend and I both experience this too. We live in the same neighborhood and use the same internet service provider. Both of us have the same package, which is 1 gigabyte per second. The weird part is that it's not every single match. Sometimes we play several games without any lag, sometimes one of us gets stuck while the other is fine, or vice versa. This only happens on Rocket League though. It doesn't always happen like this either. I used to play all my matches with 15-25 ping. That was also true for my teammate. Any help would be really appreciated.

Have you both put down the drivers for their motherboards yourself, or did you just let Windows do all the work? Windows might not actually need those specific motherboard drivers at all.

Bad drivers make the system read wrong and slow down, sending fake data to everyone. Spelling is just not my strength at all.
