Utilize the Scaled Resolution Editor (SRE) from TOASTYX, identical to the Custom Resolution Editor, and eliminate resolutions that aren't 16:9 or don't match your screen. Just remove the 1920x1200p entry. Keep the standard Windows settings at 1024x768, 640x480, and restart. You're all set.
I'm currently running Metro Last Light at 2560x1440 to 4k with NIS enabled. The scaling is functioning perfectly. No further adjustments required.
