I assembled my new PC today and here are the components: RTX 3080TI, Z690, AORUS ELITE AX DOMINATOR, CORSORA 32GB DDR5, I9 12900KF. I started the PC and didn’t see any boot message. The red indicators at the bottom keep toggling between DRAM and CPU signals, I’ve adjusted the CPU placement on the motherboard and swapped the RAM sticks, but it still cycles between those lights without loading.

You observed the system taking time to complete the POST process. DDR5 requires patience, as training can be slow. CPU and memory activity are normal during this phase. Trying a different memory slot might help speed things up.

I waited roughly a minute or two and expected to see something appear on the screen. The computer seemed to restart on its own for an unknown reason.

Restarts often happen in the middle. Please wait a few minutes. Also, verify the RAM is placed in slots 2 and 4, starting from the one nearest the CPU. Other slots are unlikely to cause a successful startup.

Begin testing with one RAM stick installed in slot 2 then slot 4. Check if the system boots using either slot. If neither works, repeat the process with the other stick. If neither sticks function, consider a BIOS reflash. It seems the board likely contains Q Flash, allowing BIOS updates without POST capability. Upgrade to the latest BIOS version and observe any improvements. Ultimately, it appears your CPU or motherboard may be non-functional.
