I'm struggling a lot. I've tried almost everything except getting a brand new laptop. It only appears on specific sites at unpredictable times. After resetting my computer, it still doesn't work, and other browsers are fine. It seems to be my own machine. If anyone can assist me before I give up, please let me know—I have an Intel AC9462 network adapter.
Checking the network details now. The active Wi-Fi appears disconnected, yet a small internet access remains. It looks like the problem might be similar to what you're experiencing.
I attempted to remove the adapter and then reinstalled it. Wireless LAN adapter Wi-Fi: DNS suffix specific to connection. Description... Intel® Wireless-AC 9462 Physical Address. DHCP is active. Autoconfiguration is available. IPv6 address present. Temporary IPv6 address also exists. Link-local IPv6 address is used. IPv4 address is 169.254.99.205 (preferred). Subnet mask is 255.255.0.0. Default gateway points to fe80::f43e:9dff:fe03:503f%25 via DHCPv6. DNS servers are 2001:558:feed::1 and 2001:558:feed::2. Network settings are configured. Possible interference from another device on the network may be causing the issue. Verify other Windows clients and consider reconnecting to Wi-Fi or reinstalling the Wi-Fi driver.
It seems the problem is with Comcast, and I probably need to reach out to them. I'm currently using a 30-day Xfinity Wi-Fi hotspot, but it's been working all summer and now they're acting strangely.
I lack information about the specifics of cellular Wi-Fi hotspots, making it hard to determine what might be typical in that situation. If the laptop is the only device failing and the hotspot works for everything else, we can likely dismiss the hotspot as the cause. It seems this issue might be related to a home network instead.
