I've already attempted to overclock my 6970 hd. It's quite an old model, but it's the only one I can afford now since my GTX 960 4GB stopped working.
Default clock settings: 880 and 1375
Power limit: 0%
Overclocked settings: 915 and 1400
Power limit increase: +20%
System details:
AMD Ryzen 5 2600
A520 d3sh motherboard
120GB SSD x2
DDR4 8GB 3200 RAM
120MM fans x2
650 watts PSU
Someone could please assist me with this.
I'm trying to boost performance for Valorant and CS:GO.
Also, the GPU and CPU aren't showing thermal throttling.
The PC just shuts down unexpectedly. I have to restart it manually.
In system logs, it only says the system shut down at a certain time without any hardware issues.

you might want a power supply with more wattage, since 6970hd can handle a lot of current, and when the pc shuts down it triggers the overcurrent protection.

I turned off my fans and everything worked. They didn’t shut down by themselves. The power button kept getting shorted too. It might have been related. Now the fans are off, and I powered on my PC with a screwdriver—it doesn’t overheat and functions properly now. Thanks for the help.
