The specs indicate two memory channels, each labeled as A1/A2 and B1/B2. The CPU is an i5 7600K, which typically uses two channels.

A is a connection point, B is a different one. On boards with just a single slot per channel (like LGA1151 with two slots), they are consistently labeled A1 and B1.

channels are spaced one slot apart on a 4-slot board. The labeling system depends on manufacturers, typically naming slots from left to right as A1, A2, B1, B2. Slots in the same channel are identical, while each channel can hold up to four memory ranks. Each slot accommodates two rank dimms, allowing a maximum of four ranks per channel. There are four rank dimms in total, though this is board-specific and only applicable to certain boards. For more details on ranks and channels, you’ll need to consult additional resources.
