Hello, I'm curious about someone who gradually increases CPU overclocking? Specifically, how about boosting each core a bit higher? What are your thoughts on this approach? I configured my i7-8700K with these settings: 5000, 4900, 4800, 4700, 4600, and 4500 MHz. It seems challenging to get all cores at 5000 MHz consistently; 4900 was unstable, especially at 1.25V. I was wondering if I don't need to run 4800 or 4900 at 1.3V continuously. It seems more efficient to raise the clock only when a core is needed—especially during idle—to save energy and improve longevity. My recent tests suggest this setup gives better performance than using all cores at lower speeds.
