You haven’t updated recently, and enabling XMP can auto-adjust the CPU. To run your CPU custom at 5.3 GHz with 4000 MHz RAM, check the motherboard manual for compatible settings. If unsure, follow the recommended specifications on the box.

You're asking about the impact of XMP settings and whether they affect CPU performance, specifically in relation to clock frequency. It seems you're clarifying what aspect you're interested in.

At Intel, I recall that when I turned on XMP on my previous PC, it also adjusted the CPU speeds. To prevent this, you might need to disable XMP or adjust the settings accordingly.

The settings shouldn't alter the CPU timings. Is it really being overclocked? XMP functions similarly, and sometimes the processor struggles to run both high memory speed and high clock rates simultaneously.
