I was experimenting with my GTX 950 by overclocking it with EVGA Precision X and then testing benchmarks using the EVGA OC Scanner. After adjusting the GPU clock offset to +350, the GPU stopped working. I adjusted it back to +250 but still got around 25 FPS regardless of settings. Did this indicate damage to the card?

The best approach is to restore your OC to the default settings and check your GPU performance. It should function properly. Test with Unigine Heaven and your preferred games to confirm stability or any crashes.

It's likely you didn't harm it by adjusting the clock. Did you alter the voltage? Excessive voltage may harm the card. Also, high temperatures can affect the GPU. Always follow guides before making changes and understand your card's general limits, then experiment carefully.

Always check guides before making changes and understand your card's limits first, then experiment carefully. Overvoltage could cause permanent damage.

Benjiwenji suggests restarting your OC to the default settings and checking your GPU performance. It seems okay. Try running Unigine Heaven and your preferred games to observe any crashes or stable frame rates. The average was 33 fps on basic, which appears to be an issue.

Benjiwenji shared that the optimal method is to restart your OC to the default settings and check your GPU performance. It should function properly. Testing with Unigine Heaven and your preferred titles can help determine if there are any crashes or stability issues. Benjiwenji also mentioned checking the 33 fps figure on the Heaven benchmark.
