Hello! Yesterday I tested my system on 3Dmark and achieved an 8.2k Score on my CPU, around 4.9 MHZ. Today I ran another test with a slight overclock and got 5.1Mhz most of the time, but the score was lower. Specs: CPU - I7 9700K, GPU - RTX 2080, RAM - 32 Gigs.

The performance boost might be inconsistent. Consider tweaking the power supply or reducing the frequency.

Last night I increased the clock speed and it held steady around 4.9Mhz, though occasionally it jumped to 5.8 and then fell back to 5.7.

The value at 5.8 is extremely large, so you're likely using a precision measurement tool. Raising it might help achieve better consistency.

If it doesn't work, modify your single core speed to around 5.5 and set all cores to 5.0, which could lead to better results overall.
