Hi, I'm evaluating an upgrade for your system. Will adding more RAM improve performance? Expect potential gains in FPS, stability, and frame rates depending on the games you play. Your current setup includes a 8GB stick at 2400Mhz and another 8GB stick with higher speeds (up to 2666Mhz). You're considering a larger configuration like Lexar 32Gb at 3600Mhz with low latency. This could definitely boost performance, especially for demanding titles, but the benefits may vary based on your specific games and usage patterns. It's worth testing in-game to see the impact.

It's not a good idea, honestly.

Your RAM is likely using asynchronous dual channel with two 4GB sticks and one 8GB stick. Zen2 benefits greatly from quicker memory speeds. The 3600 CL18 should be comparable to the 3200 CL16, which might make switching to the 3200 CL16 more cost-effective. I’d go ahead with the upgrade. For the CPU, consider moving to a 5800X3D or at least the 5700X.
