Hello, your Gskill Ripjaws comes with 8GB RAM and a 3200MHz clock. Since it doesn’t ship at that speed, you can safely increase the RAM to 3200 in the BIOS. Adjusting the voltage is not necessary unless you have specific performance concerns.

Check your BIOS settings for XMP support and test it. Please share the CPU model and motherboard information so I can assist further.

You're experiencing an issue where your Ryzen 2700X with the ASRock Phantom 4 X570 is showing a booted CPU frequency of 2133MHz instead of the expected 3200MHz after overclocking. This suggests a possible mismatch between your BIOS settings and the actual CPU frequency. Check your BIOS for any overclocking limits or mismatches, and ensure the motherboard supports the desired frequency.

I thought it would be useful to explore more about xmp in bios.

Have you checked if XMP was enabled or if the frequency was adjusted for RAM?

I just looked into it. I'm still getting the hang of it, but I plan to turn on my XMP settings and boost RAM speed. Thanks!

Your RAM is running at 3200MHz after booting, and the voltage setting remains at 1.205V. No changes are needed unless you're experiencing issues with stability or performance.

Consider adjusting the voltage if necessary.
