The 10900k should be approximately 6100 in CBR20. For context, at 5100mhz with all-core and 4800 ring, your setup seems reasonable.

This happens often when switching from full load to idle. It usually means the voltage was set too low. Most CPUs require higher voltages once you exceed 4.9 GHz. I like to apply a negative offset so the CPU can handle the right voltage for its speed. This lets me use ThrottleStop to change the multiplier from 49 to 50, 51, or 52 without adjusting the voltage directly. The 53 setting isn’t ideal. My 10850K demands excessive power and generates too much heat if all cores run at 5300 MHz. That’s why Intel labeled it as a 10850K instead of 10900K. Edit – Another reference at 5100 MHz / 4800 ring is included for comparison. HWiNFO showed the VCore voltage at that speed was 1.314 V.

Kept all stock components except: RAM with XMP enabled (DDR4 4000/CL19), CPU with fixed core voltage at 1.375v, load line calibration set to middle, cache configured at 48x Turbo table—supporting up to 4 cores. Performance reaches 53x with all cores active, 52x with 10 cores, and 51x when all power-saving options are turned on. The result is a 200MHz overclock across all cores compared to the stock 4.8–4.9GHz, plus broader single-core turbo usage. Power limits seem to be set at the default unlimited level on this board.
