I'm not certain about the category you're referring to. My experience was with a Manjaro graphics issue. I faced problems using my HDMI and mini-DP ports, but resolved it by uninstalling all Bumblebee drivers for the GeForce GTX 1050 Ti Mobile, installing the video-nvidia-390xx driver, rebooting. However, a new issue emerged: connecting both HDMI and mini-DP ports shows images on external screens, but not on the built-in ones. The built-in display appears black when all extra ports are unplugged. It seems the driver doesn't support the built-in screen. Any suggestions?

The driver was installed by running a specific command in the terminal. You chose version 390.xx because it is the latest stable release, while 430.xx is newer but not yet available. During installation, you entered a command to ensure compatibility with PCI nonfree devices and then rebooted to apply the changes.

I checked the first step but my dual monitor isn't functioning properly. I tried a different driver on Windows, and the video-NVidia-390xx or Video-NVidia worked. That's not happening if I use this command—I already have it, and my dual screen isn't working... For reference, here are some details: Graphics - Device 1: Intel UHD Graphics 630 driver: i915 version: kernel Device 2: NVIDIA GP107M [GeForce GTX 1050 Ti Mobile] driver: nvidia version: 430.40 Display: x11 server: X.Org 1.20.5 driver: nvidia tty: N/A OpenGL: renderer: GeForce GTX 1050 Ti/PCIe/SSE2 version: 4.6.0 NVIDIA 430.40 mhwd -li > Installed PCI configs: ...

I haven't resolved the issue yet, I'm still experiencing the same problem.

You seem to want both Intel UHD and Nvidia 1050Ti working together on multiple displays, especially on a laptop. The standard setup usually keeps only one GPU active unless you enable Prime. Bumblebee should manage switching between them. Without it, you're either using one or the other. For more details, check this forum thread: https://forum.manjaro.org/t/multiple-mon...?u=plouto5
