Incorrect RAM configurations and bio settings detected.
Hey there! I've run into some streaming problems with Cyberpunk 2077 lately, so I've been double-checking updates to try and resolve the issue. The BIOs updates worry me because I'm not very comfortable with PC hardware. I managed to install BIOs last night without realizing it would reset all settings, so I should have saved my configuration beforehand. I had to change my RAM speed to 3600Mhz—its specs say it's rated for that. It’s surprising I set it to 3200Mhz and 1.35v accidentally. I spent a bit in Windows 10 before noticing the mistake.
Is there any chance other BIO settings could be affected? For instance, with my Corsair H100i over the processor, are there any adjustments in BIOs that might need attention? Or could the CPU itself require changes? My PC was built by PC Specialist in the UK, so I’m curious if they’d tweak more than just RAM. My specs include: Asus TUF x570-PLUS Ryzen 5900x, RTX 3070, 3600Mhz RAM, 32GB DDR4, two Samsung EVO 860 SSDs, and some Intel M.2 SSDs for the OS. Thanks for reading—I really appreciate any guidance!
This method won't work. It doesn't actually function that way. You're all right.
Yes, the stock configurations in other BIOS sections should also be acceptable.
