Home network setup here. Only one user, no special needs. Spectrum gives a cable modem and a Wi-Fi router separately. The modem connects via Ethernet cable to the router, which has four Ethernet ports. My PC, laptop, and PS5 use those ports. Sometimes I connect my Steam Deck to the fourth port. I need affordable ways to add more ports without spending much. Less than eight should suffice. I can't replace Spectrum's equipment; I just want something I can install myself. I’d like Ethernet to reach my Roku, but using it would block one of those ports.

You only need a basic, hands-off Gigabit Ethernet switch to expand your network. Connect the switch to your router, then add more Ethernet devices. No additional setup is needed! https://www.amazon.com/NETGEAR-8-Port-Gi...B07PFYM5MZ
