Purchased a new Lenovo Ideapad Flex 5 last month. Struggling with unstable ping performance. Router changed yesterday but issue remains. Driver updated, DNS adjusted, yet problem continues. Conducted ping test on the same Wi-Fi, same distance and time, no disruptions detected. My laptop: Other laptop: Still facing issues, need guidance

Distance alone isn't the main issue; even small changes in position can greatly affect signal quality. Laptop antennas might also vary in performance due to differences in gain, placement, and more. Power settings on the WiFi adapter can be adjusted—turning them off in the Control Panel may save battery but reduce speed. Generally, WiFi latency will vary naturally between devices, so no two setups will behave exactly alike.
