Incompatibility between Ram versions
Incompatibility between Ram versions
Earlier this year I purchased a 16 Gb 3600 mhz Trident Z RAM kit. I planned to buy more later, but recently received another 16 gig RAM unit. Now I’m facing problems with XMP profiles—especially Level 1, 2, and 3—when booting into Windows after gaming. The system crashes and restarts repeatedly. Is this related to the Hynix or Samsung DRAM manufacturing ID?
Mixing RAM can cause problems, which is why they’re sold in identical sets. Purchasing the same set for another device often resolves the issue. However, inconsistencies among sellers typically lead to complications.
Yes, there might be a way. Can you provide more details about the issue?
Turn off XMP and adjust the speed directly. If 3600 feels too high, reduce it to 3466 or 3400.
