In version 11, updates to folders remain inactive
When setting up a new folder, renaming it, and moving files in and out, there are no visual updates unless you refresh manually. For example, creating a new folder initially shows nothing. After refreshing, the updated name appears. Someone might have a solution, but I haven’t found any recent fixes online—just an old Win 10 problem from about a year ago. This issue seems to be happening again today without any known changes or updates.
Tried the 101 nothing. Got stock Win 11. Let it auto-update to function properly. What should I be checking for? Also experimenting further—if I launch the music player and attempt to close it, the file explorer freezes. Task manager only closes it. When I try to open display settings, it crashes the file explorer again. Files don't refresh consistently, even on the regular desktop; they only update when I right-click and refresh. Thank God I didn’t upgrade to Windows on my main machine. Many people have switched back to Win 10 after testing Win 11.
You don’t need to search for anything once you run that command—just let it work. Also, verify drive health using the HDD Sentinel tool.
