I faced a similar problem before. I reinstalled Windows after getting a new faster SSD, but I can't recall the steps to resolve this issue since my previous setup had a different configuration. Someone might have some advice on how to fix it. Thank you in advance for any suggestions. I’ll need to sleep soon, so I won’t be able to respond right now.

It consistently lists detachable storage devices at the root directory, just as expected. If those internal drives turn off SATA hotplug in the BIOS for the connected ports, they won't be marked as removable anymore.
