I've experienced these FPS drops for a while now. It began as minor interruptions and rarely occurred, but recently it's happened six times in just five minutes during LoL. That's the issue I'm facing. Any advice would be greatly appreciated. My system specs: Intel Core i-7-10700F, 2.90GHz, Nvidia RTX 2060, DDR4 16GB.

LOL runs smoothly enough, so it may be a software issue. Have you attempted to reinstall the game? Could you share your CPU and GPU temperatures while running? Also, list any background processes you’re using.

Is this problem limited to online games or also affects bot matches? The video you shared highlights a drop right when you died, suggesting it’s likely related to network communication rather than hardware faults. I recall LoL had notable issues around death, like Yorick’s ultimate causing him to die repeatedly and giving rewards to the enemy—possibly indicating server-side logic was trying to fix such problems, leading to dropped frames.

They typically hover near 60-70°F while I handle opera, Discord, and Steam.

This occurs in both automated systems and digital gaming platforms.

Are you certain about this? It suggests your CPU is operating between 17 and 21°C. Are you employing dry ice to chill your PC? Or are the temperatures measured in °C, which would be more logical? Since it doesn’t appear to be a thermal problem, I’d think it might be related to software. Perhaps reinstalling the game could help, or if that fails, reinstalling the operating system might resolve the issue.

The temperature could be inaccurate, yet I've reinstalled the game twice, even for TF2. What exactly does "reinstall the OS" refer to here?

I would reinstall Windows, back up all your data to another storage, reset the system, and start fresh using a USB installation. This process happens roughly once a year and significantly improves performance after frequent updates.

Please find additional troubleshooting tips. For Windows 11, you may need to record a video or follow specific installation steps to resolve the issue.
