I'm experiencing an issue where...after playing FH3 or FM7 for a short time it begins to stutter...Prior to that, the game runs smoothly at 60 fps. My system specifications are: CPU i5 7500, GPU GTX 1060, 6GB RAM, 8GB storage. I'm running the game at its maximum resolution of 1080p. VSync is enabled. At first it maintains 60 fps without any interruptions, but after 10 to 20 minutes it starts dropping frames significantly. This situation makes the game unplayable. Do you have the same problem?

Are your heat levels remaining within normal ranges? Your processor or graphics card might be slowing down due to overheating.

Check the open resource monitor to assess your available RAM. If you're below 200MB, it's likely the cause of the stuttering—adding more RAM should fix it. I faced this issue during gameplay when I had 16GB installed, prompting me to upgrade to 32GB. That change completely resolved both the stuttering and low FPS problems.

Forza demands significant memory and processing power, so boosting RAM and CPU is the best solution. While gaming, you can launch Task Manager, navigate to the details section, locate Forza, right-click and adjust its priority to low, then check the affinity box and uncheck CPU 0. This approach could help.

Forza Horizon 3 is famous for noticeable FPS drops even when running at high performance. It doesn’t just cut down smoothly; sometimes the game pauses briefly and you can see the lag. The issue stems from internal problems, but there are ways to mitigate it. Many tutorials exist online. Adjusting settings like "pre-rendered Frames to 1" and turning on v-sync helped a lot for me. In Forza Motorsport 7, I didn’t experience those drops either. Occasionally the game shifts resolution modes, which forces it into 4K Ultra settings and causes low frames. Switching back to 1440p resolves the problem.
