Are you opting for the integrated graphics card or setting up a separate dedicated GPU? For an iGPU, dual-channel RAM is essential.
I've been using 8GB of RAM (without dual channels) to run Battlefield V, Minecraft Java Edition and Bedrock Edition, even while setting up a server for friends. It runs quite nonstop, so I’m not sure 8GB is sufficient. (My last PC specs: CPU e3 1230v2, GPU Asus HD7870, 8GB DDR3 RAM, 1600MB, BIOSTAR B75 motherboard). My brother’s laptop also has 8GB RAM in a single slot and has worked fine for four years without issues. Enjoy!
