Ensure your OS partition alignment is proper, since the offset value must be divisible by 4096 (the SSD block size in bytes). Otherwise, it's attempting to read/write across more blocks than needed to adjust for the wrong offset. http://whirlpool.net.au/wiki/checking_ssd_alignment
