It's just a month, yet we're dealing with three adults. We don't have cable TV and rely heavily on streaming. Mostly we download games from my Steam account and handle updates. In March we used over 1 TB of data. Our usage has kept rising since my dad retired. I discovered a T Mobile 5G site about 0.25 miles away. We stayed with them because my name is listed, and my mom said I'd be in charge of the internet. I pay around 170 rupees for the service, so adding another 50 would have been too much.

AT&T was recognized for limiting xDSL offerings. Opinions vary—some claim the restrictions were lifted, others say they remain. The sole unlimited option they provide is Fiber.

I'm tired of businesses hiding extra charges and misleading print services. It's really frustrating and not fair.

I need to locate your T Mobile tower, maybe switching carriers could save you some money. I believe you can leverage your current network to improve the connection.

Use the T Mobile gateway. It doesn’t allow bridge mode. Internet access via T Mobile uses carrier-grade NAT, meaning port forwarding isn’t possible.

I connect with the ISP modem and router. Alternatively, I can operate with another type of modem.

I bought the Netgear CM1000 in February. Earlier I owned the Motorola SB6141. The router I’m using is a Synology RT2600AC. I generally avoid ISP-provided gear, to the point of no compromise.

I only use the modem I bought for my own network. It's odd how some folks rely on the ISP-provided gear but hide it away, thinking it won't perform well.

According to US Federal Law, only cable companies are required to allow customer-owned devices. DSL, fiber, or cellular services don’t need to comply. Comcast charges $25 a month for unlimited data when you use their gateway, and that cost includes the gateway itself. Many providers also give limited information about which modems work on their network, since not all modems are compatible. Comcast offers a fairly reliable list, though some companies may not assist at all, making deals more dependent on chance.
