You're seeing DVI-D, but it's recommended to switch to HDMI if you purchase an ultra-wide display and a new GPU—even if you retain your existing one.

This appears to be a hardware concern rather than a monitor problem. If you can only reach 30 frames per second, it means your setup isn’t powerful enough for 60 fps.

It seems the key points are worth noting. A R9 380X at 1080p might handle Dota 2 at 60 fps with high settings, even though Dota isn't extremely graphics-heavy.

It seems you're questioning whether the latest drivers are available.

I made a pretty big oversight. I thought I had unplugged one of my graphics cards, but it wasn’t that simple. Once I took out the other one, my frame rate jumped to over 120 fps. Thanks for your assistance. For your follow-up, can I still keep my second monitor connected while the card isn’t plugged in? If so, would there be a way to switch settings later to display it elsewhere? Appreciate your help again.

Great to hear that you resolved the issue. I didn’t work with AMD, but it’s interesting how the frame rate dropped a lot in DotA!

I was really puzzled. After all the studies I've reviewed, I thought I wouldn't run into issues with boosting settings and achieving 60 fps. Maybe it's the worst mistake I made when setting up my system.

It's good to hear the issue is resolved. Just note you're still limited to under 60 frames per second because of the low refresh rate. Once you have a higher refresh rate, you'll see the improvement.

It's partially accurate; you won't experience every frame at 120 FPS, but you'll notice reduced input lag at a much faster rate.

You can run on one device while keeping the other active in Windows without any impact on performance.
