It's because my game functions smoothly on Windows, and I'm not familiar with games that rely on the same DX technology.

That means what? It’s unclear what it refers to.

it's unclear why no changes are made for what it should be about brake down, since someone mentioned it already. It doesn't even work on DX11—no game ever uses the dx that's meant for that purpose. Before, they always ran the older version, and now with DX12 it seems they might have a chance to fix issues, even if the game isn't using it right now. They probably have a plan to update it and prevent problems.

They're running DirectX 9, not the newer version. Make sure your runtime is updated.

I don't believe you fully understand what an API is. DirectX supports older versions. Playing a DX9 game on Windows 8.1 keeps it running as DX9. A game built for one API can't work with another unless the creators made that change. DayZ relies on DX9, regardless of the operating system—Windows 7, 8, 10 or Vista.

Thanks for checking. From what I understand, 11.3 was the most recent version, but I’m not sure if there have been updates since then. Or maybe I’m missing something? I don’t think you’re asking the right thing—I’m trying to fix the update because there might be an issue.

DX11_3 isn't available. The software updates automatically on Windows 8.1 and 10 through Windows Update 3. Keep it updated.

If that’s the situation, it might be due to differences in how the systems handle the GPU or other factors beyond just the graphics card updates. Even with newer GPUs, performance can vary based on software settings, drivers, or hardware configurations.
