My device won't connect and displays a black screen. Yesterday night I powered it off and went for a shower, upon returning I noticed the fans were spinning and drives were humming but still no response. When I pressed restart it didn’t work; holding the power button shut caused red lights on the power connectors to flash. Recently I replaced the power connectors myself and still got nothing. It seems something might have occurred when I briefly opened the side panel. I was planning to swap out a hard drive but hadn't done so before shutting it down. I have an exam and a 3D modeling assignment due tomorrow—this situation is extremely urgent.

I don't know where the diagnostic lights are but I don't see any light from the motherboard. I see 2 red lights blink on the GPU itself. Both lights just a bit above both power connectors.
CMOS reset restores all components to their initial configurations, enabling any previous errors to revert to the standard default state.
Consider replacing the GPU, verify the connections are tight, and attempt the task again.
