Important issue with the Crucial P2 500gb SSD not functioning in the M2_1 port on my MSI x470 gaming plus max system.
I have had this issue from since day 1 and i dont understand why it wont work. The P2 only works in the M2_2 slot but when i put it into the M2_1 it takes about 10 mins to finally boot into the BIOS ( during that time the VGA diagnostic light is lit red ) It doesnt show up in the bios at all in the 1st slot.
so i never updated the bios yet but when i check the website .. there is an update for improved NVME device compatiblity but its for a version on a previous date to what the board came with. I am quite unsure on what to do here and any advice would be appreciated. Also my CPU is AMD Ryzen 3600. I do apologize for my poor grammar and english

BIOS version for your motherboard at this time?
I haven't updated the BIOS yet, but according to the website, it's recommended to flash it before removing RAM, SSD, and PCIe components.
