Hi, my CPU is stable at 4.3GHz with a core voltage of 1.32V. I tried pushing it further to 4.4GHz at 1.33VCore. When booting, it took an unusually long time and got stuck on the sign-in page for a minute—normally it should be within 5 seconds. After logging in, I used Intel Extreme Tuning Utility, but it displayed no information, showing temperatures at 0°C, CPU usage at 0%, and all other values as zero. In the overclock settings, it indicated the CPU clock was 44x with default VCore. I’m not sure why this is happening.

I ran CPUID with CPU-Z and it froze at 65% storage, which it never does. When I opened MSI version, it confirmed the CPU was running at 4400MHz. Clearly, the CPU is functioning properly; I wouldn’t be here otherwise. What’s going on? I increased VCore to 1.335 but still faced the same issue. Am I limited to a maximum of 3.5GHz?

In SpeedFan, the CPU and system temperature are listed as -1°C, which is not correct—it shows my GPU is just over 60°C. Thanks.

I fixed it after some research and realized my CPU cache clock (which was 4.1GHz) is too low compared to my core clock speed. It needs to be within 500MHz of each other. I'm now overclocking without issues, thanks for reading if you haven't responded.

Can a mod mark this as solved?
