I’m organizing a LAN gathering, but I’ve never played CS:GO... I’m not sure I’d enjoy it, but I think I should give it a shot just to have fun. Since I’m not a big gamer anymore (it’s too much effort), I’m hosting it in the hope of picking it up a bit.

Travel 7.98×10^12 km in any direction and gaze back at Earth. You'll witness Christmas on the theme: steam, gog, origin.

Is it okay? That's where I found my copy and most of my other games.

This offers solid discounts on the safe side. I'm not sure where you're from, but in the Philippines we have a Facebook group for buying and selling items—maybe you have one nearby too. CS:GO is priced at 419.95 PHP ($8.895) here, while some sellers offer it for real money between 250-300 PHP ($5.35 - $6.42). The key is to look for a third-party seller or a trusted player who can send it as a gift, assuming they have extra and are willing to sell. Keep in mind that items on Steam are now region-locked, which affects availability.
