I assumed my system was working well but then faced a tough Starfield session—definitely not a standard test, yet it looks like the game demands high graphics. Do you have any suggestions for something similar? There don’t seem to be comparable Snowdrop titles right now, but what about AC: Mirage?
It varies, so review the suggested specs and see how they match your needs.
These details seem incomplete. Official specifications are still pending, and the numbers you're seeing likely come from promotional content rather than verified data.
Keep in mind Starfield is still relatively new, just launched, so performance will be limited. Optimization suggestions suggest a 10th generation CPU or 3600x, but even then it may struggle on higher-end systems. It’s not uncommon for it to feel sluggish even with medium settings.
Well... it seems the 20-year-old engine is starting to show signs of wear. No more relying on duct tape and spit to keep that mess together, right? Still, do you have any other titles to compare against? Honestly, this game won’t meet the recommended specs with ray tracing included. That’s a total miss. I didn’t find any official AC:Mirage channels anywhere—no site on the game’s page, Ubisoft store, or Epic Games. Maybe I’m just not paying attention. Right now I have an i5 13400F, MSI Gaming X3 3070, 32GB DDR4 at 3200, and I’m hoping for some extra cash. If I can afford it, I plan to upgrade to a Mini ITX with an Arc A770 and install the 3070 on a B650/R5 7600 setup with 16 or 32 GB DDR5. I might adjust my plans later, but my top priority is getting Avatar with RT running at 60fps on high settings.
Have you checked for any comparison posts yet? With your quad cores and an FX6300 nearby, it might work as a substitute for the 3600x.
