Hello! I realized the 'Enhancement' section was absent in Sound Settings. After checking Device Manager, I found my Realtek drivers dated 2020 (version 6.0.8971). When I tried updating via 'Update Drivers,' it installed newer drivers from 2023 that also added the Enhancement tab. I'm unsure which drivers are the right ones to use.

The audio functions correctly, yet there are problems with popping and crackling on both speakers (such as when pausing the video, during Windows error alerts, etc.).

I understand, but my main interest was in the drivers aspect. I'm still uncertain about which one to retain.

The files you mentioned were Windows 10 drivers -
https://www.catalog.update.microsoft.com...6.0.8971.1
I can't tell which ones you currently have without the driver number. Windows 11 probably installed the most recent versions that fit your hardware ID.
I tend to avoid audio drivers unless necessary, as they are tricky to configure properly.
Where exactly are you checking for this enhancement tab? I don’t see it, but my drivers are from 2021.

The enhancement section is usually located under your headset (in Audio) after you choose properties. I believe I've resolved the issue. I maintained the Realtek driver, which includes its own Asus Audio control and DTS, and it performs better. I was a bit puzzled about why the driver seemed outdated compared to the one for Windows 11.

I understand now, attaching my headset should work, but the menu is still empty... likely I need new drivers for more features. My sound is fine, that's sufficient for me.

My AMD High Def drivers are from 2023
My Bathys drivers are from 2022
Realtek drivers are from 2021
Several different drivers exist for various outputs.

AMD High Def supports HDMI/Display Port on the motherboard
Realtek handles the speaker/wired headphone connections on the motherboard
Bathys is intended for my wireless headset.

Drivers only update when you run a specific program (such as the AMD chipset driver package) or when they are released by Microsoft in an update. Otherwise, they remain outdated.
