I set up Windows 10 on a Kingston UV400 120GB SSD from a USB stick, but I’m unable to boot. I attempted to install it using GPT and it worked temporarily, though I couldn’t get it to boot normally. When trying to install as MBR, it failed. In BIOS I can only see the SSD as P1 and haven’t managed to modify the UEFI settings. My system configuration includes a ROG Strix B450F Gaming with Ryzen 5 3600, 16GB Trident Z Neo Seasonic GPU, and a 650W PSU.

Remove the CMOS battery and power cord, wait a minute, then reinsert the battery and connect the cord. If you have a backup SATA cable, switch it on for extra safety.

They suggested you pick the boot device manually. You said it doesn't work, so I asked for clarification. It seems you're wondering about the steps involved in doing that manually.

I access BIOS -> BOOT, choose my SSD as the boot device, and it's the only one connected. When I press Boot override, the prompt appears: "reboot and select a proper boot device..."

Automatic startup continues even after configuration. Manual selection occurs by pressing F8 (on Asus systems) once power is on until the boot menu appears. In BIOS, ensuring hard drive BBS priorities is crucial (as shown in your screenshot). Position your SSD at the top.

It seems there might be a misunderstanding. Could you clarify what you mean by "your installation was wrong"? I'm here to help!
