I'm unable to start or reinstall Windows because of an error.
Hello, I'm facing some problems with my PC. It ran fine during the day but became slow and unstable at night. My game and YouTube stopped working, then everything froze completely. After turning it off and on again, I saw a Windows error code 0xc000000f. I tried fixing the boot sector and resetting settings, but it keeps failing. I reinstalled the ISO image onto my USB drive, but nothing seems to work now. My hard drives appear empty in the recovery tool. I'm unsure if this is just an error or if someone deleted everything. I really need assistance.
Begin by noting the system specifications and the hardware you have. It seems your drive might be faulty, even after a reinstallation, and the error persists.
I own an AMD 16-core processor, a 3090 GTX NVIDIA graphics card, 16 GB of RAM, two hard drives plus two SSDs. If you need more details, feel free to ask. I previously performed a factory reset and everything worked well afterward for a few days. However, after leaving the PC overnight, it suddenly froze.
Avoid resetting everything and start fresh by installing Windows from a USB drive.
You said there is nothing on your drives. Do you mean they are completely wiped out or just there isn't any recovery data on them. Both a completely different problems with different degree of severity. If all your data is gone, probably the drive has died. However 2 separate drives, failing at the exact same time if not in RAID 0 i highly unlikely. If just the windows recovery data is missing and everything else is still there, it's just a glitch with the MBR, go with GPT instead.
