I'm unable to start Mantle from Thief (2013).

I just installed a new PC with an R9 290X and downloaded the Thief game. I'm attempting to activate Mantle but don’t see a checkbox for it. My drivers are up to date (version 14.4), and I’m checking online for help, but I haven’t found any solutions yet.

Have you started the game yet? When you open it, a window should appear letting you pick the resource and everything, with a label saying "Use Mantle."

I started the game using the launcher, but everything keeps redirecting me to SE asking for registration. When checking the in-game settings, there’s no option labeled "mantle."

It appears you're referring to a specific location on a page, likely near the "fullscreen" toggle.

I resolved the issue by removing my 14.4 drivers with Guru3d's Display Driver Uninstaller in safe mode, then added the beta driver (14.6). This should assist others facing similar challenges.
