Hi,

Recently, I’ve been experiencing a problem where certain games won't launch or take an excessively long time to open – frequently crashing or freezing before they do. I am able to run titles such as Battlefield V via the Origin Store and Dead Cells through Steam, but others from the same platforms, including Riot Games’ League of Legends client and Battlefield 1, are consistently problematic.

I'm unsure of the cause, possibly related to my hardware (though I don’t believe it is) or my operating system – Windows 10. I performed a complete Windows reset initially, which provided temporary relief, but the issue has since reappeared.

Here’s my computer configuration:

* Motherboard: Gigabyte GA-B250M-D3H
* Processor: Intel i5-7600
* Graphics Card: Gigabyte GeForce GTX 1060 G1 Gaming 6GB
* Memory: 8 GB (two single rank sticks)
* Storage: Kingston SSDNow UV400 120GB SATA3 (for the OS) and a Toshiba DT01ACA100 1TB 7200rpm drive for games.

I don’t suspect hardware failure, as some games do function correctly, and they previously operated without issue. I have attempted the following troubleshooting steps: reinstalling graphics drivers, reinstalling audio drivers, resetting Windows 10, and performing disk defragmentation. Any assistance would be greatly appreciated. If you are aware of any other resources for information regarding this problem, I would also value your recommendation.

Have you assessed the condition of your solid-state drive and hard disk drive? What is the capacity utilization of each storage device?
