Your setup now includes an upgraded i7-580K with an X99 socket, USB 3.1, 16GB RAM, and a GTX 960 2GB instead of the older RX 570 8GB. This configuration offers strong performance for gaming and streaming. You can expect smooth gameplay and high-quality video streaming with these specs.

The query asks about comparing the RX570 with 8Gb versus the GTX960 with 2Gb, and notes that the displayed screenshot doesn't align with the expected current configuration.

I now own the PC shown in the screenshot. The UPC code reveals an i7 520K with 16 GB of GDDR5 RAM, paired with a GTX 960 and 2 GB of VRAM. It’s only recommended for streaming if it performs better.

Your system has an AMD APU. If the screenshot is accurate, you should consider replacing the motherboard for any i7. The necessity of a GPU relies on your streaming goals.

I possess an x-99 WS/USB 3.1 for the i7 and plan to capture and occasionally broadcast games such as Fortnite. I noticed you can utilize the GTX 970 as a video encoder, which means your RX 570 won’t have to handle that task.

Alternatively, consider QuickSync when the i7 includes an integrated GPU. Performance may suffer in games due to limited video memory. Adding an Nvidia GPU solely for encoding capability isn't a wise choice.
