I recently completed the upgrade and am pleased with my selections. Being technically inclined, I picked components aimed at long-term reliability, especially the RAM. I opted for 64GB DDR5 to cover the entire DDR5 era, though I’m experiencing a small problem.
I can’t activate XMP/XPO profiles without facing consecutive BSOD crashes and never booting into Windows.
Still, I can manually adjust the timings listed on the boxes—both kits are completely alike—and I’m achieving excellent performance with strong stability.
According to common knowledge, using 4 DDR5 RAM sticks might cause issues when setting it up for EXPO. I think someone with more experience should clarify this for me. @RONOTHAN##
