I’m noticing my mouse is more sensitive in games now, but Windows 10 hasn't adjusted its settings at all.
I started up my PC and jumped into Warzone, but my in-game sensitivity was way too high – it was normal only in the loading screens and the Warzone home screen. I hadn’t touched anything like my DPI or sensitivity settings. My DPI is still at 500, and my in-game sensitivity is also 13, just like it always was, but it feels completely different now.
My Windows sensitivity is normal too, and mouse acceleration is turned off. When I'm just browsing on Windows outside of games, everything feels right. But when I use an aim trainer and try to match my in-game sensitivity exactly, it suddenly feels incredibly high – totally different from the aim trainer. It’s messing up all my muscle memory and honestly, it’s driving me crazy! If anyone has a solution, please let me know. Thanks.
Edit: Now the sensitivity keeps increasing across every game on my PC, and I've completely lost all my muscle memory in them – I’m so frustrated 😭😭😭
Just quickly, I want to make sure there isn’t anything sneaky going on – like a program automatically adjusting the screen resolution while you're playing. Sometimes software bundled with mice, keyboards, or headsets can do this, so let me know if you have anything like that installed.
“Actually, no thanks. I just created a fresh post outlining the issue more clearly, but I’m not sure how to remove this original message.”
