Fun FPS titles to try include Just Cause 3, Doom, Warframe, Warface, Wreckfest, Dirty Bomb, Road Redemption (great with friends), and Titanfall 2. Most of these fit within a typical budget.

Rainbow Six Siege dirty bomb future titles: GTFO Fallout 76. Mastering Fallout 4 means you’ll likely handle Fallout 76 too, since it uses a reworked version of the original engine.

Avoid Fallout 4, that’s my view. It’s a solo Asian grinding experience. Titanfall 2 and Modern Warfare 2 work well for new players. The new Vegas is decent, but Rust feels like a Metro series title. Minecraft’s okay if you haven’t tried it. Counter Strike and Rainbow Six Siege are engaging and replayable. Team Fortress 2 is free and includes a map editor—just check the game files, join Discord channels, or watch Philip’s short videos. No more room in Hell is free to play either, but it has a map editor too.
