I recently assembled a PC and am uncertain if performance issues stem from bottlenecks or other factors. Here’s what I’m using: Intel® Core™ i7-9700K CPU @ 3.60GHz, 3.60 GHZ GeForce 3070 Ti, 16 GB RAM, ASRock B365M Pro-F motherboard, 144 Hz LG monitor. My main concern is frequent frame drops during gameplay, which significantly impacts the experience. I’ve ensured my drivers are current and am seeking advice from others who might have similar problems. Additionally, recording with OBS shows stable frames, but crashes occur when it’s not running, possibly due to resource constraints.

Because the CPU has just eight cores, it could become a bottleneck unless you boost it. The system also doesn’t support overclocking, and there’s no mention of the cooling solution you’re using.

It's odd since streaming on streamlabs consistently gives me crazy frames.

Well you haven't said what you are playing at what settings or what constitutes a frame drop to you. Also you need to quote people if you want them to reply

Playing most games at maximum difficulty causes noticeable frame rate drops, shifting from 250 frames per second to just 63 in a matter of seconds.

This suggests the game needed adjustments to keep performance smooth, possibly related to drive speed since it wasn’t mentioned earlier. It’s curious that I considered updating the BIOS but Asrock hasn’t refreshed those boards’ information in three years—maybe a site problem or an uncommon model.

It seems unclear what you're trying to say, but it looks like you're wondering why everything works fine as long as you keep the obs streamlabs open.

Remove both programs and check if the issue resolves. There are several overlay tools that might affect the system.

I don't have real-time operational data, so I can't provide current temperatures under load. Please check the relevant system monitoring tools for up-to-date information.
