Hey, I bet you haven’t spent much time with iRacing. Could you tell me what settings you're running? Are you using them for every track, or just a specific one? I’m getting pretty bogged down with things like really detailed mirrors and lots of spectators, and it's slowing down my 1080ti.

My computer’s struggling to really show off the game’s visuals – I don't have any huge crowds or detailed reflections in mirrors. It runs pretty smoothly at 150 frames per second, but it’s a little choppy sometimes.

“Actually, no, that’s not the case.” I don't think it’s about the CPU at all. Seeing how the original poster described their stuttering, I believe it’s more likely a problem with the way Warzone is using its processor. It's not fully utilizing all six of its cores, which makes me think the main thread is getting overloaded. I’d suggest trying to lower your frame rate limit – that might help smooth things out.

I've been experimenting with lowering my frame rate to 80fps, and honestly, it didn’t seem to change much – I just got used to how that felt. I checked out RIVA Tuner, and it showed that the first four cores were running between 15 and 30 percent of their capacity, while the last two, particularly the fifth core, were consistently hitting 75 to 85 percent and around 60 percent respectively. I’m not sure if any of that data is actually helpful.

Here’s why the initial report about 60% CPU usage was probably off. After looking into it, I think:

- The thread consistently hitting 80% is almost certainly the main one. But it’s not running at full capacity, so the issue with Iracing isn't really about that.
- That doesn’t help much with Warzone, though.
@beers seems to have a better understanding of what’s going on with Iracing than I do.
I was just guessing it might be something to do with in-game settings, driver problems, or maybe some conflict within the graphics card’s control panel.
