I recall hearing about a Google project around a year ago (around version 0.0.0.2) for emulating a PS3. There was also a discussion on another site about a project that could recreate the BIOS but not games. Could you confirm if these are related efforts and share any links? I've been enjoying playing my old games again lately. Since my PS3 is gathering dust and my PS2 is outdated, I'm keen to try setting them up on my PC. (P.S. I don’t want any misunderstandings—people sometimes call my questions silly.) Ty, ~pipnina
Nothing ready to use atm, there is one but it seems their website got taken down. Edit: Seems like they renamed their emu http://playstation3emulator.net/
You're confirming the information is accurate. I expected it to be more advanced, but it seems to function as intended.
I believe the problem of malware impersonation will continue for many years. Even once a genuine threat is released, we'll still need to track it down. I'm curious if anyone on this forum has experience with PCSX, PCSX2, or Dolphin. They might offer valuable perspectives on the issue.
